  • Jonathan Ryan Quinn and wife Casi have 3 sons, Dakota, Colton and Aidan, and 1 daughter, Ellie.
  • Quinn is two times  All-District basketball pick and also lettered in baseball and soccer.
  • Earned All-City, All-Region and All-District honors as a senior QB, his only prep campaign at the position.
  • Participated in Tennessee-Kentucky All-Star game and was a finalist for the Humm Award, given to the state's top athlete.
  • Four-sport star at McGavock H.S. in Nashville, Tenn. where he lettered in football as a TE, QB and DE.
  • Completed 126-of-193 passes for 1,900 yards and 14 TDs.
  • Appeared in 1 contest during his 2 seasons with the Chiefs. Served as a backup to Mark Brunell with the Jaguars during his first 4 professional seasons, playing in 11 games with 3 starts.

Played his final three years of college football at Middle Tennessee State after beginning his college career at Tulane.Added 151 rushes for 162 yards with seven TDs . An All-Ohio Valley Conference first-team selection when he started every game as a senior .Started eight games as a sophomore when he hit on 108 of 223 throws (48.4%) for 1,724 yards with eight touchdowns.Became the first player in school history to throw for 300 yards in back-to-back games, when he threw for 332 yards the next week vs. Tennessee Tech, including a conference-record 98-yard completion.Appeared in five games at Tulane as a redshirt freshman, completing 33 of 68 passes (48.5%) for 379 yards with two touchdowns.Graduated with a degree in Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State.

 

 



The Bears signed former Chiefs backup Jonathon Quinn.Quinn is familiar with Terry Shea's offense and will likely be the primary backup to Rex Grossman.
